I am concerned about Athabasca University’s move toward a “call centre” model of distance education.

The call centre model provides a poor educational experience to students, and devalues the programs of Athabasca University.

With so many other Universities now providing distance learning opportunities, we cannot afford to risk the integrity and reputation of our institution. 

Please take the time and make the effort to work with staff, students and others impacted by this move – and find alternatives to the call centre model.
